Japan Mobility Show 2025: Main Events and Programs

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. (Chairman: Masanori KATAYAMA) is pleased to announce and provide herein comprehensive information on the programs and exhibits that will comprise Japan Mobility Show 2025, to be held from October 30 through November 9, 2025 at Tokyo Big Sight, in the Ariake district of Tokyo’s Koto-ku.
Number of Participating Companies and Organizations
Japan Mobility Show is an event that brings together companies across industries, including the IT, telecommunications, and electronics sectors, to develop and deliver their visions for a prospering and vibrant mobility-based society and thereby help create the future of mobility. This year the show will feature a new Mobility-Related Section, bringing the total number of participating companies and organizations to a record of over 500. The theme of “MobiShow,” Japan Mobility Show’s abbreviated name, is "A unique opportunity to explore the future of mobility," which is premised on the concept that shared excitement and collaborative thinking contribute to the creation of the future.
Details of Show Programs & Events
① Tokyo Future Tour 2035
This program offers a tour of mobility-focused visions of the future with Tokyo as the context. It was created in collaboration with 178 (at October 15) companies and organizations across various industries and provides wide-ranging insights into the potential of advancements in mobility. It comprises five sections, including an introductory section serving as a gateway to the future.

- Introduction
Upon entering, visitors will experience the impact of a decade marked by diverse transformations. Inside, they will be greeted by robots and artificial intelligence systems which will serve as support staff for visitors.
- Future World Land/Sky/Sea
This section will feature the cutting-edge technology of flying mobility, which opens new possibilities in the sky. Society today is witnessing the emergence of mobility in new domains, such as oceans and space. It is essential to anticipate the transformations that are on the horizon.
- Future City Life
A large-scale simulation space illustrates how ideas evolve and shape the future through advances in mobility. The attention of visitors will be drawn to the various mobility solutions that will be present in the cityscape of tomorrow.
- Future Out-Door Life
Discover how mobility can play a key role in outdoor and off-grid spaces, and envision yourself living more naturally and in harmony with nature's spaces in coming years!
- Future Design Factory
Various interactive exhibits allow visitors to experience the evolution of mobility manufacturing processes through sight, touch, and riding. Platformization allows for design freedom and scalability, enabling the expansion of your ideas.
This program will underscore for visitors how the coming decade will be shaped by specific ideas and individual choices.
② Mobility Culture Program
This program is a new flagship event for MobiShow, focusing on the diverse mobility cultures that have shaped today's varied mobility landscape. Experience the presence of legendary cars that have made history, as well as the breathtaking ride performances that allow you to feel the pulse of engines. Visitors will also have the opportunity to engage with the lively fan communities of car and motorcycle enthusiasts. We cordially invite you to experience the numerous and diverse charms and expressions of mobility on display in the variety of exhibits and events provided, which are spread across three distinct indoor and outdoor areas.
- Area 1: East 7-8 Halls / East Parking Area
From the postwar era to the present day, "Time Slip Garage” (East 7 Hall) presents scenes of the times alongside iconic cars, organized into three major eras.
Representing a time period extending through the 1970s are scenes and iconic vehicles of that era, which shifted from an emphasis on affluence to a focus on individuality and self-expression amid the lingering echoes of the high-growth economy. Turning to the 1980s and 1990s, visitors can explore the trends of the era, including urban pop culture and the lure of luxury, and take a look at the cars and motorcycles that garnered significant public attention at the time. The area devoted to the 2000s captures the spirit of an era which saw the flourishing of diverse lifestyles, showcasing a wide variety of mobility options in terms of design and size. Mobility solutions that align with digitalization and environmental awareness are also presented in this space. The exhibit additionally features a wide array of racing cars and sports models, offering visitors a chance to experience the enduring allure of speed.
In East 8 Hall a camping car area created in collaboration with the Japan RV Association will enable visitors to experience the joy of self-sufficient travel by car. At the East Parking Area, a series of dynamic performances will be held, including the Suzuka 8-Hour Endurance Race, a collaboration between four prominent motorcycle manufacturers. Demonstration runs by the All Japan Gymkhana Association and the All Japan Dirt Riders Association will also take place and a diverse program of events will include an exhibit of "Working Mobility" vehicles and get-togethers for fans.
- Area 2: East Promenade Stone and Light Plaza (No-charge entry)
The Kei Truck Market features specialty products from across Japan that have been transported from their places of provenance to the Japan Mobility Show site by kei truck. Tokyo Supercar Day 2025 is a thrilling exhibit of supercars and super sports cars from around the world. “Itasha Heaven Special Meeting with Japan Mobility Show 2025” is a showcase of globally acclaimed Cool Japan culture. Unique exhibition programs like these will be held on a daily rotating basis.
- Area 3: South 3 Hall
We are pleased to announce our collaboration with the prestigious mega-event, Tokyo Auto Salon. This unique opportunity will allow visitors to experience the latest custom trends in a firsthand setting. Tokyo Supercar Day 2025 is a unique event that features numerous displays of cutting-edge supercars and rare luxury vehicles from around the world. In addition, it offers a Kids Supercar Workshop, ensuring that there is something for everyone. We invite you to experience this distinctive collaborative exhibition at MobiShow.
③ Startup Future Factory
This program fosters a collaborative ecosystem involving startups to expand the mobility industry, giving rise to new challenges for the future. A total of 159 companies and organizations, including startups and university research institutions, are participating in this year’s program, showcasing a broad range of products, services, technologies, and enthusiastic dedication. Three startups that were winners in the 2023 Pitch Contest & Awards event—NearMe Inc., Global Mobility Service Inc., and Zip Infrastructure Inc.—will showcase their subsequent efforts and achievements at booth exhibits. Booths will be run by a total of 129 companies and organizations, all of them “startups creating an exciting future," covering four different categories of activity.
The Pitch Contest & Awards event will feature final pitches by 30 companies that advanced through the preliminary rounds. Our distinguished judging panel comprises university researchers, investors, and corporate executives who are at the forefront of their respective industries/sectors. New challenges and opportunities for advancement are to be anticipated.
④ Future Mobility Forum
Future Mobility Forum will once again feature experts active in diverse fields, along with JAMA senior officers including its Chairman, Vice Chairmen, and Executive Directors. Conference participants will discuss a range of topics related to the theme of a “prospering and vibrant mobility-based society.” On October 30th (Thursday), JAMA Chairman Masanori Katayama will deliver a keynote address at the inaugural Special Session in which he will discuss the significance of hosting the Japan Mobility Show as well as future mobility and its interconnectedness with society. JAMA’s Chairman and Vice Chairmen will, in addition, participate in a casual talk session on the subject of their passion for mobility and vehicles they have owned which they especially appreciated and to which they were particularly attached.
Other sessions are planned, including talks by JAMA Executive Directors discussing the future of mobility from a business perspective, as well as informal sessions covering more familiar topics.
⑤ Other Programs
- Out of KidZania in Japan Mobility Show 2025 offers a variety of role-playing career experiences related to the mobility industry for elementary school students, along with programs that even preschoolers can enjoy.
- Tomica Corner, sponsored by TOMY Company, Ltd., will feature Tomica toy displays and sales, including commemorative models celebrating Japan Mobility Show. The Tomica booth is hugely popular, drawing in fans from all age groups, and this year it will celebrate Tomica's 55th anniversary by showcasing various Takara Tomy products.
- The AJAJ Guided Tours, conducted on a voluntary basis by members of the Automobile Journalists Association of Japan (AJAJ), provide expert insights into the appeal of Japan Mobility Show and the vehicles on exhibit, offering an exclusive experience only available to tour participants. Highlights include on-stage access to concept car exhibits and the opportunity to climb aboard vehicles.
- JMS Gourmet Street will feature a diverse lineup of over 40 food trucks, with "exciting dining" serving as the overarching theme. Distinctive gourmet experiences will be on offer across five areas of gastronomic enterprise, including award-winning restaurants and menus developed in collaboration with the Mobility Culture Program. To put it simply, visitors to Gourmet Street will find a multiplicity of tantalizing culinary options to satisfy their dining needs.

The official app offers a variety of features designed to enhance visitor experience and ensure a comfortable attendance at MobiShow. Beyond basic show information, it suggests route plans tailored to your interests and objectives and allows you to create your own original route to optimize your visit. Additionally, you can import purchased admission tickets and make advance reservations for programs requiring them. The app also has a feature that monitors crowd congestion in the show’s food-purveying areas to help minimize wait times and enhance the efficiency of your dining experience.

- 1Admission after 16:00 is available on General Public Days (except Sundays).
- 2Admission between 9:00 and 10:00—one hour earlier than usual—is available on General Public Days falling on Saturdays, Sundays, and November 3 (national holiday). Elementary school students and younger children accompanied by a parent or guardian are admitted free of charge.
Note: Those who present disability certificates and one accompanying person (two persons in the case of wheelchair users) are eligible for free admission.
