evolved Human-Machine Interface (HMI).
The Valeo Racer proposes a new form of in-car entertainment with a unique Cross-Reality (XR) gaming experience. Passengers can enjoy the game in real-time on their smartphone or tablet connected to the vehicle's Wi-Fi. This XR innovation uses the vehicle’s existing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensors and onboard AI perception algorithms, integrating real roads, curves, and obstacles into the game scene, making the actual driving environment the stage for the game. A cloud-enabled multiplayer mode is also available, allowing friends and family not in the car to join remotely. Valeo Racer has secured a business award from an Asian OEM, with the vehicle scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2026.

Valeo AssistXR is a new solution that collects information from the vehicle and its environment to provide more efficient support during emergencies (eCall), breakdowns and damage (bCall), and service calls (sCall). Without additional hardware, it enhances efficiency in high-pressure situations by allowing call centers to access real-time data and video streams. It utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve situation assessment and accelerate information processing, with AI and cloud functionalities powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). A user-friendly interface developed by Valeo simplifies data access for operators.

The Valeo SteerUX, uses Steer-by-Wire technology to transform the entire steering wheel into an interactive operating surface. Crystal switches with touch sensitivity, force sensing, and haptics, along with icons that disappear when not needed, allow the driver to easily control safety and entertainment features without distraction. When switching to the autonomous "Auto Mode," the area around the crystal switches becomes active, enabling the driver to check and reply to emails using a virtual keyboard or play games using touchpads and a back button as a controller. It can also feature an integrated drunk driving prevention function, requiring the driver to complete an alcohol test by breathing into a designated area on the steering wheel before "Drive Mode" can be activated.

48V Golf Cart
The 48V Golf Cart is a demo car showcasing the performance of Valeo's 48V system integrated into a rigid axle. By modularly integrating drive components such as the electric motor and gearbox into the vehicle's structural component called the rigid axle, it provides an affordable, simple, and robust electrification solution for small EVs like golf carts and small utility vehicles.

48V powertrain new eAccess, designed for small urban vehicles, is a Japan premiere. It is a simple and affordable electrification solution for 3- and 4-wheel electric vehicles, integrating a 48V motor, an integrated gearbox, and an inverter into a compact unit. Depending on the configuration, it achieves a maximum range of up to 100 km and a top speed of 45 km/h to 95 km/h. While the first generation "eAccess" was based on Valeo's belt starter generator “iBSG” technology, the new model on display uses a gear type, enhancing torque transmission performance while maintaining compactness, simplicity, and affordability.

The 48V Inverter Integrated Small Mobility Motor Generator (iSMMG) is also a Japan premiere, designed as a 48V powertrain solution for 2-wheelers. Unlike the conventional SMMG where the motor and inverter are separate, the "iSMMG" is a "2-in-1" integrated solution ("i=Integrated") with an air-cooled unit. It features a continuous output of 4 kW and 6 kW, a peak output of 6 kW and 10 kW, and achieves a system peak efficiency exceeding 90%. Mass production is planned for 2027.

48V 15kW eMotor & Inverter
The 48V 15kW eMotor & Inverter is a 48V belt-less motor-generator for passenger cars and 2- and 3-wheel applications. It features an oil-cooled motor plus a water-cooled inverter, intended for the P3 position (transmission mounted). This model has been in mass production since 2021 and is supplied to Chinese/EU OEMs for hybrid DCTs. The 25 kW model will also be available and features a water-cooled motor plus an inverter, currently under development for the P4 position (rear axle integrated module).

Dynamic Ambient Lighting
The Dynamic Ambient Lighting installed in the Lynk & Co Z20 is on display. The eye-catching "Infinity Light" is centrally located in the cabin and spans the entire instrument panel with a full-length RGB multi-LED, creating the illusion of a luminous tunnel that expands the perception of space. This appeals to the senses with dynamic, multicolored light. Four mood settings ("Fireworks," "Ocean," "Moonlight," and "Neo City") allow the interior to be transformed into a personalized space, with the capability to synchronize light and sound.

HD Lighting
HD Lighting is a technology that divides the headlamp's illumination area into tens of thousands of pixels for individual control. In the high beam area, it provides high-definition, glare-free high beams for maximum visibility. Precise light distribution control also reduces glare from signs and prevents halation in sensing cameras. Furthermore, by increasing the resolution of the low beam area, it enables road projection of lane guides and navigation displays for driving support. It is also expected to be utilized for smooth communication with other road users during future autonomous driving.

e-Face
e-Face is an external Human-Machine Interface (HMI) providing safety and security by supporting communication from autonomous vehicles to surrounding road users. It displays signs such as "Starting," "Pedestrian Crossing," "Stopping," "Turning Right," "Turning Left," and "Greeting" using text or expressions according to the vehicle's status during autonomous driving. The e-Face thus substitutes a part of the communication typically performed by the driver with surrounding road users. Ichikoh is also participating in the "Autonomous Driving Regional Mobility Consortium," exploring the possibility of e-Face serving as a regional infrastructure component for disseminating information and warning displays during disasters.
