The joint booth of YAMATO INDUSTRY and IAT features two models: “JEMY EV48”, the new BEV commercial van to be introduced into Japanese market, and “IAT T-MAD”, a full-size pickup truck concept model based on IAT's original EV platform.

YAMATO INDUSTRY, established in 1937, is the manufacturer and distributor of plastic parts and logistics equipment. Its partner IAT, founded in 2001 in Japan, is the largest automotive engineering company in China and has knowledge and experience in EV-related technology development in both the Chinese and Japanese markets.
YAMATO INDUSTRY is newly establishing "JEMY" brand and entering Japanese electric mobility business field under cooperation of IAT.

JEMY is an acronym for "Japanese Electric Mobility by YAMATO INDUSTRY" and represents the idea that " YAMATO INDUSTRY will change the culture of electric mobility in Japan. The first product of JEMY brand, EV48, is Japanese version of the BEV commercial van manufactured by JENHOO AUTO in China, and will additionally feature a Japan-unique super high roof and complete walk-through.

TuSimple is a global autonomous driving technology company headquartered in San Diego, California, with operations in the United States and Asia. Founded in 2015, TuSimple is developing a commercial-ready, fully autonomous (SAE Level 4) driving solution for long-haul heavy-duty trucks. Global achievements include development of the world's first Autonomous Freight Network (AFN), an eco-friendly, cost-effective, safer and efficient freight transportation network.

TuSimple JAPAN, the Japanese subsidiary of TuSimple, was founded in 2017. It aimed to address the "2024 problem" related to the anticipated driver shortage, a consequence of Japan's declining birthrate and aging population, and to enhance the logistics work environment. In January 2023, TuSimple JAPAN initiated L4 autonomous driving tests on the Tomei Expressway using Japanese-made trucks equipped with TuSimple's autonomous driving system.
