Bosch Corporation Brake-by-wire

The new hydraulic brake-by-wire system from Bosch consists of a by-wire brake actuator and an ESP®. The robust and efficient brake-by-wire solution decouples the mechanical connection between the brake pedal and the brake system. This enables new pedal concepts such as the braking control pad and optimizes the vehicle design with regards to NVH, manufacturing and safety. In addition to the hydraulic solution, Bosch is also developing a purely electromechanical system.
